We may not all be able to look like Elizabeth Taylor, but we can maintain our youthful appearance and have younger looking eyes!
As a woman of maturity, I know that eyes are a major concern for all of us. They are one of the first areas that show age, right along with our hands and neck.
Prior to starting the development of eye products, I wanted to make certain they each would contain key ingredients such as Matrixyl 3000, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-3, Haloxyl and Eyeliss. These types of peptides are very significant to address specific conditions such as dark circles, puffiness, lines & wrinkles and improve the elastin around the eye area.
What do these exotic sounding ingredients have in common? They are all peptides which have small molecular structures needed to penetrate deep enough to make a structural change in our skin. Peptides have multiple properties and each are designed to provide a specific function in the skin. They are often referred to as the building blocks of life.
It’s all about collagen. When we are young our skin is plump, smooth and taut, as it is full of youthful collagen. As we age collagen and elasticity is lost but not easily replaced. Peptides help replace some of this lost collagen by signaling the skin to produce more collagen. Applying peptides to the skin tricks your skin into thinking it has lost collagen and needs to kick into production.
Matrixyl 3000 found in many of Derma MD's products is a dual action peptide that helps prevent collagen loss and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and crow's feet. Acetyl Hexapeptide -8 is a neuropeptide that reduces wrinkles by relaxing facial contractions that cause lines and furrows. These two peptides are great to use around the delicate area of the eye, for this is an area where expression lines are likely to form quickly. Two Steps to Younger Eyes!
Believe me when I tell you this is a definite to keep eyes looking younger and more vibrant.
The two steps needed for younger looking eyes include Lifting & Tightening Eye Serum and our Peptide Eye Cre'me. This combination lifts, tightens, moisturizes and revitalizes the areas around the eye, and also addresses areas, that many of us have, and that is dark circles and puffiness. Ingredients such as Acetyl Tetrapeptide-5, Eyeliss and Haloxyl found in our Peptide Eye Cre'me can reverse those signs.
