About the Co-Founders
Sheila Malmanis is a licensed aesthetician, and a former L.P.N., where she was licensed in the state of TN. She received her initial training for aesthetics in Langhorn, PA in 1993. Her love for skincare, new technology and technical ingredients, encouraged her to pursue her passion for skincare and proceed with the development of Derma MD®, which was founded in 2001.
What makes us different from the rest?
Many skin care companies base their entire line around one or two active ingredients, and usually have a specific type of skin they are trying to correct. i.e; pigmentation, rosacea, acne, or fine lines and wrinkles. This is a great idea if you are treating only one type of skin! Everyones’s skin type is different and so are their issues and needs.
