Background

Sheila Malmanis is a licensed aesthetician, and a former L.P.N., where she was licensed in the state of TN. She received her initial training for aesthetics in Langhorn, PA in 1993. Her love for skincare, new technology and technical ingredients, encouraged her to pursue her passion for skincare and proceed with the development of Derma MD®, which was founded in 2001, and is based in AZ. She now has 25+ years of Sales and Marketing, combined with having owned her own skin care salon, and held multiple managerial and vice president positions with former skin care manufacturers.

Her primary responsibility within the company is product development. Sheila works with chemists nationwide to assist her in the formulations of all Derma MD® products by using the highest percentages allowed with the newest delivery of those ingredients, so the finished product is “The Best of the Best”! This assures that you will always have a finished product that provides “RESULTS”!

Sheila lectures twice yearly with Age Management, www.agemed.org. These conferences are for both physicians and other professionals, in which they obtain CME credits. She also lectures at multiple aesthetic conferences throughout the United States, and internationally. She has been published in the UK Medical Cosmetic Journal and Healthy Aging Magazine, and is on the advisory board of Healthy Aging Magazine.

Marie Piantino L.E.

Background

Marie Piantino is the primary educator of MS Skintechnical and assists with training and educating on how to incorporate a med spa concept into your existing facility or stand alone practice. She took her initial three years of training for aesthetics in Europe. She has been involved with aesthetics since 1972, and moved to the United States in 1990 and received her aesthetic license in the state of California in 1992/Tn 2000/PA 2000. She has been accredited in the state of Ohio to provide continuous education in Aesthetics and also been a speaker at the physicians Anti-aging symposium, and A4M Conference Group. Marie has been involved throughout her career in both Spa and Medical Aesthetics. Her knowledge from owning her own aesthetic business as well as having been a Vice President of Education with a former skin care company, has allowed her to understand both the needs and desires of staff and clients. She has consulted with many spas and physicians in assisting them in both training and strategic planning.
